| Joint School Volunteer Training Scheme 2010 |

This is a joint school long-term social service project organized by Social Service Committee of Wah Yan College, Kowloon (WYK) and Social Service Group of Diocesan Boys' School (DBS), co-organized by Holy Trinity College (HTC) and Our Lady of the Rosary College (OLRC). This social service project will be held from February to April. It is a 6-day social service project which consists of Orientation Day, Workshop, Lecture and Social Services.
A number of 80 volunteers are expected to participate in this volunteer training scheme so as to maintain the whole project's efficiency and smoothness. The 20 participants from each school may take different positions, such as programme directors, group leaders and group members. Members in the Organizing Committee should not be included in the number of participants mentioned above.

The WAH YAN FESTIVAL (WYF) is an annual traditional event organized by the Students' Association. This year, WYF will be held from 1 Feb 2010 (Mon) to 10 Feb 2010 (Wed). We expect students to enjoy various beneficial and relaxing activities and also develop a stronger sense of belonging to our school.

| Pre-Competition Concert 2010 |

The Music Association will hold the Pre-Competition Concert before the Schools Music Festival, in order to provide students an opportunity to warm up and make improvements. This year, the concert is divided into two parts and will be held on two days: Chroal and vocal items.
Tickets are now on sale at the corridor during lunchtime and after school. You may also place your order by dropping an email at ma@wyk.edu.hk.

| Joint School Drama Scheme (JSDS) |

The audition of the Annual Production of the Joint School Drama Scheme (JSDS) will be held on 31st Jan 2010, from 1pm to 5pm. We are looking for both front stage (actors) and backstage (lighting, music and design) crew. Interested members of the Performing Arts Society who are F.3 or above could contact Derek Ho of 6SS, Leo Chau of 6B or Marcus Au of 4W by 29th Jan 2010. Others who are interested in the event are also welcomed.
